TRAFFIC BULLETIN: FRIDAY 7 – FRIDAY 14 MARCH 08
Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1.
FULL MOTORWAY CLOSURE
Sunday 9 - Tuesday 11 March(contingency 12 - 13 March)
All SH1 lanes southbound between Constellation Dr and Tristram Aveclosed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for guardrail installation, barrier removal and linemarking.
·       Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp and Tristram Avesouthbound off-ramp will also be closed.
·       Diversion via Target Rdor East Coast Rdto Tristram Ave.
ONEWA RD
Friday 7 March – Monday 10 March
SH1 Onewa Rdnorthbound off-ramp closed from 10pm on Friday until 5am on Monday.
·       This work is in conjunction with the North Shore City Council closure of Onewa Rd.
·       Transit is taking this opportunity to undertake work on the off-ramp to coincide with the North Shore City Council closure.
·       Diversion via Stafford Rd, Esmonde Rdor Northcote Rdnorthbound off-ramps.
Monday 10 - Thursday 13 March
SH1 Onewa Rdnorthbound off and on-ramps and Onewa Rdsouthbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for drainage and lighting work.
·       Onewa Rdand Sylvan Avewill also be closed.
·       Diversion via Esmonde Rdor Northcote Rdoff-ramps.
TRISTRAM AVE
Wednesday 12 - Thursday 13 March
SH1 Tristram Avesouthbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for chipsealing work.
·       Diversion via Northcote Rdsouthbound on-ramp.
NORTHCOTE RD
Wednesday 12 - Thursday 13 March
SH1 Northcote Rdsouthbound off-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for paving work.
·       Diversion via Esmonde Rdsouthbound off-ramp.
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change.  Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealandapologises for any inconvenience caused.
