Clive Community Committee
The Clive Community Committee is meeting in early March to elect new officers and to discuss a proposed community event scheduled for the April school holidays.
The meeting will take place at St Francis Church Hall, Ferry Road, Clive at 7.30pm on Monday 3 March.
Mandy Kaye, Hastings District Council community development officer, who sits on the Clive Community Committee, said becoming part of the committee was an excellent way for community members to contribute in a very positive way to the wellbeing and future development of Clive.
“Clive is one of the Bay's quickest growing settlements in a wonderful location. Things are really starting to happen in the town and getting involved in this Committee offers the people of Clive a wonderful opportunity to play a big part in the town's future,” said Ms Kaye.
The Clive Community Committee will elect new members through a nomination and voting system.
All interested parties should attend the meeting. Those requiring further information should contact the Committee chairman John Robertson on 06 8700013.
