Changing climates: Hot topic for Canterbury

The Southern Environmental Trust's 2008 Forum will be held on 12th March at 6.30pm in the Limes Room, Town Hall, Christchurch.
The speakers will be:
- The Hon David Parker, Minister reponsible for Climate Change Issues - Government policy and perspective on managing climate change in NZ and how we will reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Dr David Wratt, General Manager Climate Change, NIWA - the scientific view of what Canterbury and NZ will be like in the future due to climate change
- Peter Townsend, CEO, Canterbury Emplyers Chamber of Commerce - the social and economic impact in Canterbury of the changing climate
