Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 9 - Friday 15 February 08
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week's proposed closures for work on State Highway 1.
Sunday 10 February (contingency 11 - 14 February)
SH1 Northern Motorway southbound between Northcote Rd and Onewa Rd closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier removal and motorway realignment.
* Esmonde Rd and Northcote Rd southbound on-ramps will also be closed
* Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp and Onewa Rd southbound on-ramp
ONEWA RD
Sunday 10 February (contingency 11 February)
SH1 Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for drainage works.
* Diversion via Stafford Rd or Esmonde Rd northbound off-ramps
ESMONDE RD
Wednesday 13 February (contingency 14 February)
SH1 Esmonde Rd northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for paving.
* Diversion via Northcote Rd northbound off ramp
SH1 Akoranga Dr/Esmonde Rd northbound on-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for paving.
* Diversion via Northcote Rd northbound on-ramp
TRISTRAM AVE
Monday 11 February (contingency 12 - 14 February)
SH1 Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for crash cushion installation.
* Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
