Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1.
ESMONDE RD
Sunday 3, Monday 4 and Thursday 7 February (contingency closure)
SH1 Esmonde Rd northbound and southbound off-ramps closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for line marking.
• Akoranga Dr will also be closed
• This closure will only take place if circumstances postpone earlier planned works
• Diversion via Northcote Rd or Shelly Beach Rd
SH1 Akoranga Dr and Esmonde Rd northbound on-ramps closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for line marking.
• Diversion via Northcote Rd
NORTHCOTE RD
Sunday 3 February (contingency 4 and 7 February)
SH1 Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier construction.
• Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp
TRISTRAM AVE
Thursday 7 February
SH1 Tristram Ave southbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for guard rail installation.
• Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp
CONSTELLATION DR
Sunday 3, Monday 4 and Thursday 7 February (contingency closure)
Constellation Dr westbound between Parkway Dr and the northbound off-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for paving and line marking.
• Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp will also be closed
• This closure will only take place if circumstances postpone earlier planned works
• Diversion via Sunset Rd or Tristram Ave
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
