Christchurch: Chemist Smash And Grab

At around 5.45am on Sunday the 14th of January 2008, a stolen white Ford Courier double cab utility vehicle was driven into the front door entrance to the Wilsons Barrington Pharmacy, situated at 256 Barrington Street.
The male driver of the vehicle then entered the pharmacy, remained inside the store for a short time, before returning to the vehicle and driving off down Stourbridge Street. The male is described as possibly Caucasian, about 5'8'-10' in height and of slim build. He was wearing dark coloured clothing.
The stolen vehicle was found the following day in Rahera Street, which runs off Barrington Street, and is only a short distance from the pharmacy. Police are seeking information from the public about this incident and they can ring Constable GRAINGER of the Hornby Police on 3441800 or their nearest Police Station.
