Workplace Death in Nelson

A 26yr old Nelson man was killed this morning whilst working with machinery at his workplace in Nelson, Senior Sergeant Stu Koefoed stated.
Richard Paul Densham was crushed by falling machinery at Sue John Berry Fruits, Bullen Street, Tahuna at approximately 10.30am. The machinery was being moved by Mr Densham when it toppled over and crushed him.
The workplace death has been referred to Occupational Safety and Health who have commenced an investigation into the death. The matter has also been referred to the Coroner Senior Sergeant Koefoed said
