About the Performers
The Misfits of Science, aka hip-hop duo Optimus and Colossal, are best known for their number one hit Fool’s Love. After a couple of years’ hiatus, the group are back with their latest song Mama I'm a Misfit, currently showing on C4 and Juice. Their latest album will be released in early 2008.
Fast Crew are seasoned performers at events such as the Big Day Out and the Aotearoa Hip Hop Summit, as well as being known for their infectious singles Suburbia Streets and I Got from their debut album “Set the Record Straight”, which found success in both Australia and New Zealand. The guys are approximately three quarters of the way through their second album, currently scheduled for release in April 2008.
