Mayoral Town Hall Meetings next week
Manukau mayor Len Brown is delighted with the success of his first mayoral town hall meetings at Papatoetoe and Orere Point, with more than 100 residents, in total, turning out to share their views and listen to the mayor’s thoughts on the issues affecting the city.
It is very encouraging, he says, that people have felt free to voice not only their concerns and issues for the city, but the positive things as well.
The meetings will continue this month at Pakuranga and Mangere Bridge.
All residents are invited. For details, contact 09 262 5104, or visit: www.manukau.govt.nz.
The coming meetings are:
Wednesday 14, November, 2007 4pm to 6pm Pakuranga Community Room The Galleria Building 7 Aylesbury Street Pakuranga
Tuesday 27 November, 2007 4pm to 6pm Mangere War Memorial Hall Domain Road Mangere Bridge
