Wellington City Council will be installing an 8m tall Christmas tree in Midland Park on Friday 16 November (weather permitting).
The lights will be turned on at 7.30pm every day during the Christmas-New Year period.
The city’s streets start putting on their Christmas finery from Wednesday 14 November and flags will go up at the same time in Lambton Quay, Cuba Street and Courtenay Place. Festive billboards will go up at the Wellington Railway Station on Saturday 24 November (south-facing) and 3 December (north-facing).
