New Restaurant For Wellington Diners
Locals and visitors to Wellington are in for a treat at the new Vivant Restaurant & Bar, recently opened at Hotel Ibis Wellington.
The restaurant, formerly i-bistro, has been completely transformed to create a more modern, natural and inviting
atmosphere. More than just a hotel restaurant, Vivant is also the perfect place for Wellingtonians to meet friends for
an after work drink, or as a relaxed setting for a corporate lunch.
Breakfast is a full buffet, at lunchtime there is a choice of fresh food from the cabinet such as paninis, pastries and
muffins, as well as a lunch menu, and dinner is a la carte. The dinner menu has been revamped with tantalising dishes
that don't break the budget, including Roasted Rack of Lamb, Pan-seared Free Range Chicken, Ricotta and Pumpkin
Tortellini and of course a choice of premium Angus beef steaks. Diners can also choose from a range of bar snacks and
delicious desserts.
The look and feel of Vivant is modern, welcoming and casual with New Zealand timber, Italian furniture, gas-lit
fireplace and New Zealand photographic artwork on the walls. The ambience reflects the style and energy of Wellington
itself.
