New Restaurant For Wellington Diners
Locals and visitors to Wellington are in for a treat at the new Vivant Restaurant & Bar, recently opened at Hotel Ibis Wellington.
The restaurant, formerly i-bistro, has been completely transformed to create a more modern, natural and inviting atmosphere. More than just a hotel restaurant, Vivant is also the perfect place for Wellingtonians to meet friends for an after work drink, or as a relaxed setting for a corporate lunch.
Breakfast is a full buffet, at lunchtime there is a choice of fresh food from the cabinet such as paninis, pastries and muffins, as well as a lunch menu, and dinner is a la carte. The dinner menu has been revamped with tantalising dishes that don't break the budget, including Roasted Rack of Lamb, Pan-seared Free Range Chicken, Ricotta and Pumpkin Tortellini and of course a choice of premium Angus beef steaks. Diners can also choose from a range of bar snacks and delicious desserts.
The look and feel of Vivant is modern, welcoming and casual with New Zealand timber, Italian furniture, gas-lit fireplace and New Zealand photographic artwork on the walls. The ambience reflects the style and energy of Wellington itself.
"The idea behind Vivant is to offer something for everyone, whether it's a family who want to start the day with a satisfying buffet breakfast, work colleagues popping in for a lunchtime snack, or a relaxed dinner with friends," says Hotel Ibis Wellington General Manager Lee Pearce. "The restaurant strikes the right balance of casual and stylish and will appeal to visitors and locals alike."
Vivant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is located at Hotel Ibis Wellington in Featherston Street in the heart of Wellington. For bookings or enquiries, phone 04 496 1880.
