Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 23 December 2006 to Friday 5 January 2007
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).
Tuesday 26 December 2006
CONSTELLATION DR
Constellation Dr westbound between Parkway Dr & northbound motorway ramps – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am to allow temporary changes to the lane alignment.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 27 or Thursday 28 December 2006
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Sunset Rd
Tuesday 26 December 2006 – Monday 8 January 2007
CONSTELLATION DR
Right hand turn from Constellation Drive SH1 southbound off-ramp to Constellation Dr westbound – CLOSED - day and night from 9pm on Tuesday 26 December 2006 until 5am Monday 8 January 2007 to allow for the installation of ducts for high voltage cables.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Sunset Rd
Tuesday 26 December 2006 – Tuesday 16 January 2007
CONSTELLATION DR
Southbound on-ramp from Constellation Dr to SH1 – CLOSED - day and night from 9pm on Tuesday 26 December 2006 until 5am Tuesday 16 January 2007 to allow for the installation of ducts for high voltage cables.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave on-ramp
Wednesday 3 & Thursday 4 January 2007
ESMONDE RD
Esmonde Rd westbound between Lake Rd and Barrys Point Rd – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for line marking.
* As part of this closure Barrys Point Rd southbound between Des Swann Dr and Esmonde Rd will be closed at the same times
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Anzac St
Motorists should be aware that buses will be using the Esmonde Rd on-ramp from 23 December until February 07.
Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
