Seminar on Fiji Democracy
The Auckland-based Coalition for Democracy in Fiji (CDF) is holding a Seminar on "Fiji Democracy" at the Wesley Community Centre in Sandringham, Auckland on 20 December 2006.
Speakers will give attendees an analysis and insight into Fiji's history, politics, constitution, economy and the recent Coup.
Speakers include :
- visiting Fiji human rights campaigner, Mrs Suliana Siwatibau
- former Fiji newspaper publisher, Thakur Ranjit Singh
- NZ Greens Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Keith Locke.
The event is open to all members of the public, and will be followed by a meal.
