Waiheke Island Wine Festival Announces Lineup
Anika Moa, One Million Dollars, The Nairobi Trio and the Beat Girls are among the first-class lineup announced for 2007’s Waiheke Island Wine Festival, to be held on Saturday 10 February from 11am to 6pm.
With two stages and six hours of live entertainment, over 19 vineyards, and exciting new vintages to boot, 2007 is looking to be one of the greatest wine festivals on the idyllic island to date.
Following the success of 2006, the festival will again be hosted at the stunning Isola Estate, where festival goers can immerse themselves in the beauty and heritage of great Waiheke vineyards, while sampling some of the best drops in NZ and delicious gourmet delights.
Known for its warm climate and hilly terrain, Waiheke has attracted skilled and adventurous winemakers since 1978, and the annual Waiheke Island Wine Festival pays tribute to a daring yet successful bunch!
Tickets are limited and can be purchased for $65 per person or $89 including a return Fullers ferry trip. Tickets include festival wine glass and holder, entry to the festival, live entertainment and a Fullers festival bus link. Tickets available from Ticketek.
