Ellerslie Bus Crash - Appeal for Witnesses

Incident Type: Serious Crash Update
Police are appealing to witnesses to the previously notified crash involving a Stagecoach bus and a car on Main Highway, Ellerslie at 10.00am this morning.
It is now known that about nine passengers who were on the bus at the time of the crash, boarded a following bus to continue their trip. These passengers are asked to contact Constable Sullivan of the Serious Crash Unit on Ph 359 3109.
The male driver of the car involved is being taken to Auckland City Hospital. He is still listed as serious and his condition is causing concern.
