Press Release - Aggravated Robbery Shell Service Station At Morrinsville Sunday 19 November 2006 10.55pm
At approximately 10.55pm on Sunday 19 November 2006 a Male armed with a shotgun has entered the Shell Service Station located on the main street in Morrinsville, Thames Street.
The male was wearing a balaclava and dark hooded sweatshirt and demanded money from the till from a female Attendant.
The offender is described as approximately 180cm tall ( 5ft 11in) and slim build.
The Attendant has fled the scene and Police were notified shortly afterwards.
It is unclear at this stage if anything was taken in the Robbery or how the Offender left the scene.
Police would like to hear from any members of the Public who were around the Morrinsville Central Business District that may have noticed any suspicious vehicles or persons.
