Waterfront Stadium Meeting
Monday, 20 November 2006
at 7.00pm
to be held in the
RSA Hall (opposite the BNZ)
61 Victoria Road, Devonport
The Devonport Community Board is considering the potential impact of the proposed waterfront stadium on the residents of Devonport. This meeting gives residents the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns.
The Government’s proposal overrides Resource Management Act and Local Government Act requirements. Your statutory right to be consulted will be severely eroded if the Waterfont Stadium goes ahead. This meeting may be your only opportunity to be heard.
Mayor George Wood, city councillors, regional councillors, MPs and community board members will be in attendance to hear your views and convey them to the relevant decision makers.
Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting.
Chris Darby
Councillor
Devonport Community Board member
North Shore City Council
