City Council proposal aims to improve capital programme delivery
Christchurch City Council today announced a change proposal to its Capital Programme Group which aims to improve the delivery of its extensive capital programme spelt out in the 2006-16 Long-Term Council Community Plan.
Kevin Mara, the Capital Programme general manager, made the announcement to staff today, explaining that the proposal would disestablish 11 positions but also create 13 new ones.
The majority of employees in the Capital Programme Group will be confirmed in their current positions with some changes proposed to reporting lines and position titles.
The consultation period with staff runs from today until Friday, 20 October. All staff submissions will be considered before a final decision is made the week commencing 30 October 2006.
