Missing: 27 Year-Old Shane Douglas Hyslop
New Zealand Police National News Release 4:23pm
1 September 2006
Glen Innes Police have concerns for the safety and wellbeing of 27 year-old Shane Douglas Hyslop who was last seen by his mother in Tauranga at 4pm on August 18.
He travelled by bus from Tauranga to Auckland that evening and, although his bags were taken to his and his father's home in Panmure, he has not been seen by or made contact with any family members since leaving Tauranga.
This is apparently out of character for Shane as he always contacts a family member when and if he goes away. His father notified Police he was missing on August 28.
If anyone knows where he is or has been lately they should contact Sergeant Paul REEVES of the Glen Innes CIU, (09) 302 6400 ext: 94053
Shane is 165-170cm's tall, of thin to medium build with short brown hair. He has tattoos of the devil skull on his left and right forearms and the Star of David on right lower leg, along with a Celtic design. It's not known what he was wearing. He does not have access to a vehicle.
