Local Government to Get a Burst of Fresh Air
Sighted as the real government of the country, local government management steps into the spotlight this weekend in
Nelson for a three day conference to the theme, 'Taking Care of Business.'
The Fresh FM breakfast show, Fresh Air, Friday 1 September at 7.10am presents an insight into this conference with guest
Nelson City Council CEO Viesturs Altments who is chair of the organizing committee for the NZ Society of Local
Government Managers Conference.
"Given recent publicity focusing on Viesturs this will be a great opportunity to meet the man who takes care of business
