Be in to win the ultimate Auckland City fashion experience
Aucklanders are being offered the chance to win the ultimate Auckland City Fashion Experience, valued at over $7000, in celebration of Air New Zealand Fashion Week (ANZFW) 2006.
The grand prize includes a night for two at the Hilton Auckland including cocktails and breakfast, $150 voucher for Soul Bar, four tickets to the Trelise Cooper Fashion Week show, ANZFW 4 U public day and exclusive ANZFW wrap party, and a Telecom Samsung "blade" cell phone valued at $700.
The winner will also be able to go on a shopping spree and update their wardrobe with $500 vouchers from Liz Mitchell, Widdess, Two Double Seven and Hailwood plus a further $1500 fashion vouchers to spend. Plus, the winner will receive a L'Oréal makeover and product pack valued at $1000.
To be eligible for the competition simply buy something from any participating fashion retailer in the Heart of the City (CBD), Newmarket, Ponsonby, Parnell or K'Rd between 9am Friday 1 September and 5pm Sunday 10 September. The competition will be drawn on 12 September and the winner will be called live on the More FM breakfast show by Kim and Corbett on Wednesday 13 September.
Each day from Monday, 4 September to Friday, 8 September there will be the chance to win a $250 L'Oreal gift pack being given away on More FM's Kim and Corbett Breakfast Show, with that winner going into the draw for the major prize pack. There will also be the chance to snap up some tickets to the ANZFW 4 U open day. Also look out for the More FM prize patrol that will visit one of the five fashion precincts each day and do a live cross at 4:35pm. The first listener to the location will receive a fashion goodie bag relevant to that location.
Auckland city is the home of Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2006, which runs from 18 to 23 September at the Viaduct Harbour Marine Village. The event exposes and celebrates our unique culture to international media and buyers.
Auckland City acknowledges the economic, creative and dynamic contribution fashion and fashion designers make to Auckland and New Zealand. The council's sponsorship of Air New Zealand Fashion Week is a testament to Auckland City's commitment to supporting the growing fashion industry and the creative sector.
Auckland City is a longstanding supporter of the city's and the wider region's creative sector and has sponsored Air NZ Fashion Week since it began, stepping up last year to become a strategic partner.
Air New Zealand Fashion Week is aligned to the theme of artistic/creative in the Auckland City events strategy and represents a signature event which brings economic benefit and international profile to the city.
