Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 26 August To Friday 1 September
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).
Sunday 27 until Wednesday 30 August
ESMONDE RD
Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barrys Point Rd and Burns Ave – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for beam placement on Shoal Bay Bridge.
• As part of this closure, the left hand turn from Barrys Point Rd into Esmonde Rd will be closed at the same time.
Monday 28 until Wednesday 30 August
ESMONDE RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier construction.
• The eastbound link from Akoranga Dr to Esmonde Rd will also be closed at the same time.
• Motorists use Onewa Rd or Northcote Rd off-ramps as alternatives.
Sunday 27 and Monday 28 August
TRISTRAM AVE
The southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier modifications.
Monday 28 until Wednesday 30 August
TRISTRAM AVE
The southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Tristram Ave – CLOSED – overnight from 8pm until 5am on 28 August and 9pm until 5am on 29 and 30 August for placement of bridge beams.
Wednesday 30 August
TRISTRAM AVE
Tristram Ave eastbound between the northbound motorway ramps and Raines Ave – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for placement of bridge beams.
