Kids go wild for Animania! school holidays
Hop along to Auckland City Libraries during the July school holidays (Saturday 1 to Sunday 16 July) for lots of fun games, pet shows, competitions and much more in our Animania! school holiday programme.
When kids borrow six items from the children and teen collections during the holidays, we’ll give them the chance to win $20 vouchers from Jansen’s Pet Stores. We’ll also give them the chance to win their very own Animal Lovers Pack – which includes a family pass to Auckland Zoo and Kelly Tarlton’s – by taking up our internet Animania! quiz challenge.
We’ve lots of fun activities happening at your local library. Check out some of the highlights below:
o When you visit Glen Innes Community Library at 10.30am on Wednesday 5 July, meet Moss the Dancing Dog and his friends and join in some doggie craft activities. While you’re there, don’t forget to enter the ‘design-a-dog’ competition where you’ll be in to win some cool movie tickets.
o
o It’s time to get wild at Blockhouse Bay Community Library. Listen in to their evening storytime “Welcome to the jungle”. And meet one of the big cat zookeepers from Auckland Zoo at 11am Friday 14 July where you’ll find out all about the Sumatran Tiger.
o
