Weather Update Number 4 - CCC
The bottom half of Dyers Pass Road remains closed, with reports coming in that it has begun snowing there again. Hackthorne Road is still open, however. The Summit Road from the Sign of the Kiwi to Gebbies Pass remains closed.
The intersection at Wigram Road and Hayton Roads is in flooding - it will probably be closed all day. Detours are available in the area.
Buses are still not running up Dyer's Pass Road with this service currently terminating at Thorrington Shops. The Hornby to Burnham bus service is not running at all, the Rangiora bus is terminating at Belfast and the Clifton to Sumner and Redcliffs Schools is not operating at all. All other bus services are running as normal.
Banks Peninsula appears to have missed all snow and all roads there are clear and open. The Groynes is closed today and the New Brighton Walk'n'Talk has been cancelled. I will send further information as it comes to hand.
