Sylvia Park traffic on Southern Motorway – LATEST UPDATE
Transit New Zealand advises motorists that there may be delays on the Southern Motorway tonight in the Mt Wellington area near the new Sylvia Park shopping centre, and recommends that motorists avoid the area where possible.
Those planning to visit Sylvia Park should be aware that large volumes of traffic leading to the site could cause significant delays in reaching the shopping centre, and that parking may not be available. Drivers are asked to consider visiting on another night.
However, motorists coming from the city who do intend to visit the shopping centre should take the South Eastern Arterial exit through to the Sylvia Park entrance on Carbine Road to ease congestion.
Transit thanks motorists in advance for their co-operation. Please observe information made available on electronic message signs and via live radio updates.
