Burwood/Pegasus Physical Sport and Recreation Fund
Applications are now being sought for the Burwood/Pegasus Physical Sport and Recreation Fund.
The fund, which provides grants of up to $2000 from its $30,000 pool, is available to non-profit clubs and organisations to support local sport and physical activities in the Burwood/Pegasus area.
The main focus of the fund is the development of physical recreation and sport for youth (under 20), although other applications will also be considered.
The fund is the Burwood/Pegasus Community Board’s way of supporting sport and physical activity at a local level.
For application forms and further details regarding the fund, people should contact Shirley Service Centre, phone 941-5333 or visit www.ccc.govt.nz/community/funding
Local organisations and clubs have until Friday, 30 June 2006 to make applications.
