Huia Pool To Close For Maintenance
Huia Pool is scheduled to close for its annual maintenance period from Monday 19 June to Friday 30 June 2006 (inclusive).
During this time the pool will undergo a comprehensive maintenance programme which includes 1.4 million litres of water in both the main and learners pools’ being drained. This will allow for a service of the main pool’s moveable floor.
Other major areas of work include the general maintenance to the pools filtration and ventilation plant; an upgrade of the private spa filtration plant, replacement of tiles in the pool tank and replacement of lighting around the facility.
Huia Pool will reopen at 8:00am on Saturday 1 July 2006.
Leisure Active wishes to apologise for any inconvenience that the maintenance closure may cause to customers.
Naenae and Stokes Valley Pools’ will operate as per normal timetable and the Swim City office at Huia Pool will be open 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays.
