Fanshawe Street road works
* From today, there will be no right hand turn from Fanshawe Street into Beaumont Street. This is a permanent measure to improve safety and help traffic flow better. Access to Westhaven and the surrounding area will be via Daldy or Halsey streets.
* From today, the pedestrian crossing on the western side of the Fanshawe and Beaumont street intersection is replaced with a crossing on the eastern side, and a new crossing has been installed between Beaumont and Daldy streets.
* A week of work upgrading traffic signals at the intersection of Beaumont and Fanshawe streets and at the intersection of Beaumont and Daldy streets finishes today.
* There will be some traffic signal shutdowns on Fanshawe Street while the remainder of the work is completed. Police pointsmen will be at these intersections during the scheduled shutdowns.
* These works are part of Auckland City's Fanshawe Street widening and bus lane project, which connects with the Northern Busway.
