Race Relations Commissioner visits "Earth Family " Exhibition in Upper Hutt .
Race Relations Commissioner Joris de Bres will be at the opening of an "Earth Family ' exhibition in Upper Hutt today.As part of the celebration and focus on this year's Race Relations Day on Tuesday 21 March Trentham School students worked with Upper City Council Library and Community staff .They created over 20 small clay figures following a theme " we are all the same-earth to earth -and we all go back to the earth ! '
Upper Hutt Mayor Wayne Guppy will be there to greet everybody and says he is delighted to see such a wide cross section coming together for a multi-cultural activity and celebration .
The clay figures will be on display in the Rotary Foyer of Expressions Arts and entertainment Centre in Upper Hutt.
