Media Release
Northcote Road on-ramp temporary weekend closure
All day Saturday 18 March from 8am and all day Sunday 19 March until 6pm, the Northcote Road on-ramp southbound will be temporarily closed to motorists.
The closures are required to enable erection of two new power pylons. A 200 tonne crane is being used for the job and establishing this crane will partially obstruct the Northcote Road southbound on-ramp, making unsafe for public use.
Motorists headed southbound should use Onewa or Esmonde Road on-ramps during the closures.
In the event of bad weather, the works may be postponed.
Transit apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you in advance for your co-operation.
