Exhibition aims to take first step to peace
A new photographic exhibition on show at Our City O-Tautahi from tomorrow (Tuesday, 21 February), aims to bring communities together by portraying moments in life that are shared by all cultures
The Milestones Project is an international exhibition of photographs by Americans Richard and Michele Steckel. The pair are trying to build bridges between different peoples and cultures by capturing memorable childhood moments that are common to all cultures, such as losing your first tooth or taking your first steps.
The Milestones Project will be on show at Christchurch City Council’s Our City O-Tautahi, corner Worcester Boulevard and Oxford Terrace, from 21 February until 25 March.
Admission free.
