Sounds of Summer Latin fiesta
Aucklanders can enjoy more free music on the shores of Mission Bay this summer when Auckland City puts on a Latin fiesta guaranteed to get your hips shimmying on Saturday 4 March.
Salsa the night away with your friends and family at the second Sounds of Summer @ Mission Bay concert at Selwyn Reserve from 4pm to 7pm featuring New Zealand's top Latin dance band Kantuta, DJ Loco, a Latin Fever dance show and a free salsa lesson.
The Sounds of Summer @ Mission Bay concerts are a new addition to Auckland City's Music in Parks series and are sponsored by The Promenade, Mission Bay. Make sure you pop across the road to any of the sponsor restaurants if you need some dancing fuel before the fiesta or have run out of juice afterwards!
Music in Parks concerts are produced by Auckland City, with support from Radioworks. They are just some of more than 60 free events provided by Auckland City as part of the Ak@Play summer events programme. Listen to Radio Live 100.6FM and 703AM for details or check out www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/mips.
