Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 21 January to Friday 27 January
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on the Northern Busway and Esmonde Interchange
upgrade over the next week.
Saturday 21 to Friday 27 January – CLOSED – day and night
- Akoranga Drive eastbound link to Esmonde Rd
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January – CLOSED – day and night
- Left turn onto Constellation Drive on-ramp (SH1 northbound)
Sunday 22 to Thursday 26 January – CLOSED - overnight from 9pm to 5.30am the following morning:
- Northcote Rd off-ramp (SH1 southbound)
Note that Akoranga Drive closures will continue until 30 January.
Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine night.
