Nathan Homestead Café Reopens
Manukau City Council is pleased to announce the café at Nathan Homestead, (Manurewa Community Arts Centre), 70 Hill Road Manurewa will reopen on November 21.
The Nathan Café is situated on the ground floor of the Homestead. It will cater for all day breakfasts (ideal for business breakfast meetings), morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
A comprehensive range of breakfast choices are available from home made muesli, eggs benedict and hot cakes, to a gourmet grill. For lunch choose from salads, toasted sandwiches, paninis, nachos, quiches, cheese boards and fruit platters. Enjoy morning or afternoon tea or coffee along with traditional favourites of home baked muffins, cakes and slices.
The Nathan Café also caters for special occasions and group functions. The walled garden and the croquet lawn provide a perfect setting for outdoor weddings and other functions, with the immaculately kept gardens a perfect photographic backdrop. The Homestead can provide a wet weather alternative and can also be used to hold the wedding reception.
The Nathan Homestead, built in 1925 on 9 acres of exquisite grounds, has been kept in its original state which adds to its charm; it is a unique setting for the Nathan Café.
The café will be open Mon-Fri 9am -3pm.
