Anna Kemp’s family will watch the sentencing of John Myles Sharpe in the Victorian Supreme Court Melbourne, Australia via video-link from Dunedin.
Sharpe murdered his pregnant wife Anna Kemp, a New Zealander aged 41, and their daughter Gracie Sharpe on separate dates at their home in Prince Street, Mornington, Melbourne in March last year.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in April of this year.
Anna Kemp’s mother and family have previously requested privacy and do so again for the sentencing. It has and continues to be an extremely upsetting time and they do not wish to be contacted by media at this time.
The family is grateful for the continued support of the church and good friends.
