Hutt City Council Launches Business Brochure
Hutt City Council will officially launch its inaugural Hutt Business Profile at a function at The Dowse on 11 August at 6pm.
General Manager Strategic Development, Kim Kelly said Hutt City Council had produced the brochure to meet a demand from businesses and groups wanting to know more about establishing a business in the city and investors who were considering an investment in the city.
“Key objecitives in council’s Economic Development Strategy involve retaining existing businesses, helping those businesses to grow and attracting new investment to the city,” said Kim Kelly.
“Hutt City’s economy has been the best performing economy in the region recently and we want to ensure the momentum that has been building over the past couple of years is maintained and enhanced if possible.
“The brochure, available free to businesses and investors, demonstrates the innovation and excellence of businesses in the Hutt Valley and the natural advantages the city, and the region, has to offer.”
Hutt South MP Trevor Mallard will officially launch the Profile.
Among the first recipients of the brochure will be Chinese and Japanese hosts of the September Sister City delegation.
