Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam, Porirua CIB, says John Douglas Willis contacted police about 7pm tonight. He was located a short time later in Plimmerton, was arrested without difficulty and is now in police custody.
Willis will be appearing in the Porirua District Court tomorrow morning on charged with: theft of a boat, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon, assault with intent to rape, indecent assault and kidnapping with intent to have sexual intercourse.
