New bus lanes on key CBD streets: changes for motorists
Auckland City is reminding motorists that bus lanes begin operating today on Albert Street – between 6am and 10am, and 3pm and 7pm.
There are some road layout and traffic signal changes motorists need to watch out for.
Check the signs and give way to buses.
The right hand turn from Albert Street into Swanson and Wyndham streets has been removed. Motorists should use Hobson Street to access these streets from the north.
Bus lanes also operate on sections of Sturdee and Vincent streets, and Mayoral Drive.
Auckland City thanks motorists for their patience and co-operation during this settling in period.
