Where did the chickens Kross K’Road and why was the Mayor watching?

The invitations said, ”Celebrate with caution”, for the opening of the K’Road Krossing.
Lead by the SAFE chickens and heralded by the Dominion Centenary Concert Band the Mayor, Dick Hubbard and a contingent
of K’Road dignitaries will process across the new, long awaited, pedestrian crossing between St Kevin’s Arcade and the
Lim Chhour Centre.
The event is being celebrated K’Road styles with a bouillabaisse of theatrical moments, including the gifting to the
Mayor of the KEY TO K’ROAD, a noise Festival and an ‘Open Home’ in Samoa House afterwards.
