Missing woman could be in remote place
Police wanting to find missing Mt Eden woman, 29 year-old Amanda Catherine Gardner, say she may be depressed and staying
somewhere remote.
Amanda's family have said she has gone missing on previous occasions, but only for a day or two at a time and that it's
uncharacteristic of her not to be in touch with her family for this long.
Miss Gardner was last seen on Monday May 23 by a member of her family in Epsom and there are now serious concerns for
her safety and wellbeing.
"Amanda's mother tells us she loves coastal areas and it's possible she's driven to some remote location for some
solace," Sergeant Matt Srhoj of Balmoral Police said.
"She normally drives a 1987 silver Honda Integra with the registration number TG 4866, but searches for this vehicle
over the past week have not managed to find it."
Mr Srhoj urged people to keep a look out for the car and to notify Police or himself, on 09 631 1026, if it was seen.
