Property found in West Auckland homicide inquiry
Waitakere Police investigating the death of Xiukun Feng are appealing for any possible sightings of her property, after the discovery of her cell phone.
Police are asking for any sightings of a cellphone like this
The phone was found by a member of the public on a walkway between Point Chevalier and Patiki, next to Auckland's North Western motorway.
Inquiry head, Detective Senior Sergeant John Sutton says, "The walk way is used a great deal by people who walk and run between Point Chevalier and Patiki and they may be able to help the inquiry if they saw some of Nancy's property in that area."
The body of Xiukun Feng (also known as Nancy) was found in a car in a New Lynn car park on May 1. Police believe the car may have been there for almost 24 hours
Police are still searching for other property including a watch, red handbag and distinctive key ring.
Detective Senior Sgt Sutton says, "Anyone using the walkway since the weekend Nancy was found may have seen some suspicious behaviour near the walkway or some of her property including the cell phone and they should contact the Henderson CIB on 839 0664."
