Wiri Stop work called off – South Auckland buses to run as planned
Stagecoach Auckland is pleased to announce that the Combined Unions have agreed to withdraw their notice of a stop work meeting at Wiri Depot tomorrow and to suspend the overtime ban.
This industrial action has been withdrawn as a result of the ongoing talks today between the company and the Unions in an effort to resolve the pay dispute.
At this time however the Combined Unions have not withdrawn their notices of other industrial action. Therefore the ‘work to rule’ and ‘missing the last trip if the previous trip is running late’ action continues until Thursday when both parties have agreed to meet again to consider a new offer from the company.
The public are encouraged to plan their journey’s by using the Stagecoach website, www.stagecoach.co.nz, or by calling Rideline on 366 6400.
