Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Neil Grimstone says the amount of information coming to the enquiry team from the
Chinese community has been phenomenal and is part of the reason why the enquiry has progressed so well thus far.
"Another reason we have progressed well is because of the pressure we have been able to apply to those who have been
involved - mainly through the media. I would like to say to this individual that it would be best if he comes forward
before police have to come knocking on his door."
Mr Grimstone says the 0800 KIDNAP line will be manned this afternoon by a Chinese-speaking police officer and the
Chinese community can be rest assured that any information given will be in the strictest confidence.
Two men, a 28 and 19-year-old, were arrested and charged last Thursday evening, in connection with the kidnapping.
Police are still seeking two other people in connection with the crime.
The man's name police wish to locate is Wanzhe Gui, he is 29-years-old and 175cm tall.
