CMJ traffic bulletin: Saturday 19 March until Thursday 24 March
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for work on the Central Motorway Junction upgrade over the next week.
CMJ Stage 1 Full motorway closures: Sunday 20 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 11pm until 4am on Monday: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnAll southbound lanes between Cook St off-ramp and Grafton Rd on-ramp.
Ramp and link closures: Sunday 20 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 11pm until 4am on Monday: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnHobson St on-ramp (SH1 southbound)
Sunday 20 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 8pm until 6am on Monday: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnSymonds St on-ramp (SH1 southbound)
Sunday 20 and Tuesday 22 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 8pm until 6am the following morning: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnNorthwestern to Southern Motorway Link (SH16 to SH1 southbound)
Monday 21 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 8pm until 6am on Tuesday: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnPort on-ramp (SH1 southbound) „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnWellesley St on-ramp (SH1 southbound)
Ongoing motorway lane closures: There will be ongoing north and southbound lane closures at night on the Southern Motorway between the Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and the Symonds St overbridge from Sunday through to Thursday nights until April 2005.
Please choose alternative routes during these closures. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.

Wednesday 23 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 9pm until 6am on Thursday: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnSouthern Motorway (SH1 northbound) between Nelson St off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp Ramp and link closures: Sunday 20 until Wednesday 23 March ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 9pm until 6am the following morning: „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Qƒn Northwestern Motorway to Port Link (SH16 Portbound) „h„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„Q„QƒnNorthwestern Motorway to the Southern Motorway Link (SH16 to SH1 southbound)
During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
The CMJ Project Stage 1 of Transit¡¦s Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen St over-bridge and Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005.

Stage 2 of Transit¡¦s Central Motorway Junction upgrade project extends from Bond St on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to the interface with CMJ Stage 1 near Symonds St and from Cook St on the Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds St.
