Kaitoke Regional Park right on track
Greater Wellington’s Landcare Committee considered nine submissions on the draft Kaitoke Regional Park Management Plan at last week’s council meeting.
Chair of the Landcare Committee Councillor Chris Laidlaw said that, “The fact that we received only nine submissions about the draft shows we are just about right on track. People are generally happy with the way the park currently operates.”
“The submissions were positive and supportive of the park’s management, the standard and maintenance of facilities, and the services provided by Greater Wellington staff.”
Cr Laidlaw said that once the Landcare Committee has considered all submissions, the next step in the review process is to draft the final plan.
The review of the Kaitoke Regional Park Management Plan began last year.
