Media Advisory - Presser At Scene Of Christchurch Fire
A press conference is to be held at 3pm today at the scene of the fire in Cashel Chambers, Bedford Rd, Christchurch.
Fire Service Christchurch assistant fire region commander (operations) Steve Barclay says urban search and rescue personnel are continuing a detailed search of the scene in the hunt for possible victims.
"It is a very slow job and we are not expecting instant results, but we are making every effort we can."
Steve says media will be fully up-dated on progress at the press conference.
