Burwood-Pegasus Community Board – Carols in the Community
Take a break before life gets too busy and enjoy Carols in your Community -- free community events to celebrate the Christmas spirit.
Activities vary from location to location and may include the New Brighton Silver band, face painting, sausage sizzles, children’s games, lolly scrambles and, of course, Father Christmas. So bring a picnic tea and check it all out.
These events are being funded by the Burwood/Pegasus Community Board and brought to you by your local residents’ associations. Choose from the following five locations in the Burwood/Pegasus ward:
Sunday, 5 December 4-7pm -- Harold Henry Park, Bexley, Wetlands Grove off Bexley Road. If wet it will be held Sunday 12 December.
Tuesday, 7 December 6pm -- Halberg Reserve, Dallington, access via Locksley Avenue or Halberg Street. If wet it will be held in the Scout Den at Halberg Reserve.
Friday, 10 December 6-8.30pm -- Parkland Reserve, Queenspark Drive, (near the playground). If wet it will be held on Sunday 12 December.
Sunday, 12 December, 4–6pm -- Horseshoe Lake Reserve, New Brighton Road. Cancelled if wet.
Tuesday, 14 November 5.30-7.30pm -- Broad Park, Corner Marine Parade and Beach Road. If wet it will be held on Wednesday 15 December.
