Delays likely for festive Franklin Road
Private property owners on Franklin Road, Ponsonby, will be switching on their Christmas lights on Wednesday, 1 December.
Traffic delays are expected during this time and motorists are advised to catch the Link bus, or use nearby car parks to keep traffic flowing in the Ponsonby area. For details, visit www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/parking or www.rideline.co.nz or phone (09) 379 2020.
Drivers who regularly use Ponsonby and Franklin roads may wish to use alternative routes during December.
Aucklanders are encouraged to enjoy the lights and use these tips to help make the experience better for everyone.
