First meeting of Greater Wellington Regional Council following elections
The first meeting of Greater Wellington Regional Council for the 2004-07 triennium, following the local body elections, will be held on Thursday, 28 October.
Councillors will be sworn in, and then the election of the chairperson and deputy chairperson will take place. The MP for Wellington Central and Minister for the Environment, the Hon. Marian Hobbs will attend and address the meeting.
It will be held in the Council Chamber, L5, Regional Council Centre, 142 Wakefield Street, Wellington at 11am.
