Centennial Leisure Centre closed temporarily for maintenance
Centennial Leisure Centre closed today for two weeks, until 19 September inclusive, to allow for maintenance work to be done in the pools and gym areas.
The main work to be undertaken includes tiling some surfaces in the change rooms and pools, change room upgrading (mirrors, seating, partition replacement), interior painting, stripping and cleaning gym equipment, and a major overhaul of air handling and pool filtration systems.
As usual, members of Centennial Leisure Centre (pools and gym) are able to use other Council leisure centres at QEII or Pioneer.
Centennial Leisure Centre will re-open just in time for the start of school holidays, on Monday 20 September. Its school holiday programme starts on 27 September. For more information please contact Centennial Leisure Centre on 941 6853.
